Benito Mussolini's March on Rome, 1922
On October 28, 1922, Benito Mussolini (2nd from left) and his fellow Fascists launched the March on Rome from Milan, which ended with the assumption of government. In the picture Mussolini is accompanied by three of the four quadrumvirs who had prepared the March on Rome for Mussolini (from left to right): Italo Balbo, Benito Mussolini, Cesare Maria De Vecchi (commander of the Squadrists) and World War General Emilio De Bono
