The first groups of the Berlin BDM, about 200 girls aged 14 to 16 bid farewell to their relatives at the Anhalter Bahnhof as they leave in the Landjahrlager (country year camp) of the HJ in the Gau Thuringia to execute their Landdienst (country service).
