Bertha Benz with her sons Eugen and Richard on the journey known as Bertha-Benz-Fahrt from Mannheim to Pforzheim. The 108km long trip proved the long-distance suitability of the automobile. In a pharmacy in Wiesloch Benz bought several liters of light petrol, which made the pharmacy the first gas station in the world
