Bethmann-Hollweg before the examination committee, 1919

Former German Chancellor Theobald von Bethmann Hollweg, who resigned in 1917, before the investigating committee in Berlin. This committee deals with the causes and reasons for the outbreak of the First World War. The reason for this committee is the sole responsibility of the German Reich in the outbreak of war laid down in the Treaty of Versailles, which was signed by a German delegation and which is to have catastrophic effects on German domestic policy in the upcoming period
