Border crossing at Kurzbrack, around the 1920s
Only a few of the inhabitants of East Prussia were allowed to cross the Polish border across the Vistula. The German inhabitants of Kurzbrack were permitted to cross the border only with a valid border entry and only at certain times of the day. On the German side there is a sign which says: Reichsgrenze (imperial border)
