British Plane Attack

A British strafer during a bomb attack on the German infantry in the desert. After the Battle of the Dardanelles, the armies of the Central Powers, especially German and Turkish forces pushed forward towards the Suez Channel, a highly important strategic point in the Near East. Via Southern Anatolia, Iraq and eventually Syria, German and Turkish forces approached the Suez Channel. the British and loyal Arab Sheiks fought hard to stop them. Undated picture
