Broadcaster Rolf Wernecke bends over the bed of a newborn in a Berlin maternity hospital with a microphone to send a greeting to the child's father on the radio. On the morning of the 1st of July, 1941, the 500th program of the Kameradschaftsdienst was broadcast, in which daily greetings were transmitted to the front. On the occasion of the 500th program, long-distance wedding ceremonies were broadcast, and mothers were visited, who gave birth to a child at night
