From the exhibition Maler, Bildhauer und Zeichner besuchten den Reichsarbeitsdienst im Kriegseinsatz ('Painters, sculptors and draughtsmen visited the Reich Labour Service in Wartime') in the Berlin Kunsthalle am Zoo. Here is shown the painting entitled Brueckenbau (Bridge Construction) by Eduard Steiner. It shows members of the Reich Labor Service working on a bridge. They are currently erecting a bridge pier while Wehrmacht soldiers march in the background
