Burial of Auguste Viktoria in Potsdam, 1921

On April 19, 1921, Empress Augusta Victoria was buried in the Antique Temple (Antikentempel) in the Sanssouci Palace Park in Potsdam. The photo shows the funeral procession on its way to the Antikentempel. The coffin is pulled by horses. A sign protrudes from the crowd with the inscription Deutsche Volkspartei Jugendgruppe (Youth Group of the German People's Party)
