Burma street, 1940
The Burma Road passing through Burma / Myanmar, the only land link to China, photographed by a Japanese reconnaissance plane between Kueiyang and Kumine. The road had been closed under massive Japanese diplomatic pressure, but reopened in October 1950. The Japanese then occupied the road with heavy air raids
