BVG strike in Berlin, 1932

From the 3. until the 7. November the workers of the Berlin public transport company BVG have gone on strike. The strike was triggered by a reduction of the hourly wages by two Pfennigs, which the Papen government - it had seized power by a coup also in Prussia - enforced by an emergency decree. In the ballot vote, the majority of the workers for was for a strike. The strike committee was made up of Socialists, Communists, members of the ADGB and SA members.
