Opening of Cafe Luitpold in Munich, which was allowed to use the name of the Prince Regent with highest approval, on 1 January 1888. People who visited the cafe on the days after the opening had to pay half a silver marks for the poor of the city. For thousands of residents of Munich it was worth it
