Cargo aircraft at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, 1934
On the Tempelhof airport in Berlin on 1 November 1934 is opened with a small ceremony the first route of the German Reich Railway Company. A three-engine Junkers aircraft should fly every night from Berlin to Kaliningrad to transport cargo and express freight. The machine is marked with the sign of the Reich Railway, the winged railway wheel.
