Castle Malmaison near Paris
Front view of the Chateau de Malmaison west of Paris. The original building dates from the years 1620-22. After 1802, the castle was enlarged in the Empire style by Charles Percier and Pierre Fran???cois Leonard Fontaine. It was the place of residence of Napoleon Bonaparte as consul and his wife Josephine, who lived here until her death in 1814
