The fuselage of the crashed German Zeppelin airship Hindenburg (LZ 129) is on fire. Eyewitnesses watch helplessly the disaster. The first flight of the LZ 129 took place on 04.03.1936. On 06.05.1937, the airship crashed burning on the American airfield in Lakehurst. The cause of this 32 second tragedy has never been fully understood
