On March 20, 1928, a commemoration event took place in the Waldkirche (or St. Peter and Paul Church) in Nikolskoe between Berlin and Potsdam to commemorate the 100th birthday of Prince Friedrich Karl of Prussia. Crown Princess Cecilie of Mecklenburg (centre) and Marie Louise of Prussia (nee Schaumburg-Lippe, to the right of Cecilie) were also present at the ceremony. The saluting soldiers are Totenkopf hussars
