Cecilie zu Mecklenburg at a charity evening of the NSDFB
In February 1935, Cecilie of Mecklenburg (centre) attended a charity evening organised by the Federal Office of the NSDFB (Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Frontkaempferbund, English: National Socialist German Front Fighters Association; the successor organisation to the Stahlhelm after it had been brought into line). The donations went to an old people's home in Windhoek. To the left of Cecilie is Colonel Grafunda, to the left of him is a member of the Greater-Berlin regional association. Behind Grafunda is a man in the uniform of the NS-Frontkaempferbund. In the background (2nd from right) is Prince Joachim Albrecht of Prussia, who has a Bavarian coat of arms on his uniform
