: Celebration of Italian Fascists after the March on Rome

Celebration of Italian Fascists after the March on Rome

With the March on Rome at the end of October 1922, the fascists under Benito Mussolini succeeded in taking over the Italian government. The picture was taken after the victory of the fascists and shows a section of female fascists standing in front of a procession and celebrating the new conditions in Italy. Through their black shirts (so-called black shirts) they express their sympathy for the fascist ideology. To the left of them stand some male black shirts
