Chain Bridge and Hallertor Bridge in Nuremberg, 1934
Mills and weirs on the chain bridge in Nuremberg on the old-town discharge of the Pegnitz. The chain bridge is the oldest suspension bridge in Germany and was built in 1824 and celebrated as a technical marvel at that time. The original structure is obtained, but is supported for about seventy years by beams. Behind is the Hallertor Bridge, it is one of the medieval city fortifications
