Christening of the Junkers G 38 General Field

In 1933 Hermann Goering christened a Ju G 38 with the name Paul von Hindenburg at Berlin-Tempelhof airport. Paul Hindenburg, Werner von Blomberg, Hermann Goering (who christened the aircraft) and Reich Foreign Minister von Neurath were all present at the christening. With a capacity of 34 passengers, the G-38 was considered the largest aircraft of its time
