In 1922 in Berlin an international commission of experts met to advise about the stabilization of the Mark. Participants were from left to right: Karl Gustav Cassel (Sweden), the economic experts Brand (Great Britain), Jenks (USA), Dubois (Switzerland), John Maynard Keynes, State Secretary Schroeder and the economic expert de Beaufort (France)
