Composer competition for the best folk song in the Berlin Fest-Hall Kroll Opera, in presence of deputy Chancellor Franz von Papen (top left) and Reich-Labour-Minister Franz Seldte (top middle), who are surrounded by choirs and Hitler Youth. Through the German Music-Premier-Stage Dresden about 4000 composers are judged by music experts, of these about 160 reached the shortlist and choirs and string orchestra performed them in the Kroll-Opera. One of Seldte's prize was won by Hermann Blume for his marching song Kamerad Horst Wessel
