Cadets of the Luftwaffe exercise with a target device above the so-called bomb carpet, a kind of simulator during their training at the Air War College Gatow. While they operate the target device above, the simulated overflown area moves beneath them. Thus are demonstrated the conditions during the operation in the optimal altitude
