On the 1st of May 1936 was published a special issue of the Jornal do Commercio that appeared in Recife. On the front page a large swastika is depicted, in its axis is placed the insignia of the Germans in Brazil for the Labor Day 1936'. In the four corners of the front page are inserted German cityscapes. Clockwise from the top left: Passau, Munich, Landsberg, Meersburg, Heidelberg and Wuerzburg. The special issue contains articles about politics in the National Socialist Germany and the Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler
