Cremation of bodies after the air raids on Dresden in 1945
During the heavy bombing of Dresden in the spring of 1945, thousand of people were killed. The number of victims was so great that the bodies were collected on the remaining public places, where they were doused with gasoline and burnt to reduce the risk of diseases
