Workers from the occupied Czech Republic ('Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia'), who were housed in a camp in Falkensee near Berlin and worked in Reichsbahn projects, writing letters home.. The photo which was made shortly before the outbreak of war, was intended to make a positive presentation of the camp, however the reality of the often forcibly recruited workers could be significantly different
