The decampment of the last motorized infantry regiment

The decampment of the last motorized infantry regiment of a tank division leaves the surrendered Orel region after the conclusion of Operation Citadel'. This maneuver was the last large German offensive on the Eastern front. During the course of it there were big losses, however, the Germans did not succeed in breaking through the Soviet defensive positions. Ultimately, the troops in the Orel area had to be removed after this armored battle around Kursk in August, 1943
