Degraded monument in Prague, 1941
The Woodrow Wilson Monument was demolished on behalf of Reinhard Heydrich in Prague. In place of the former monument, a plaque was set up, which reads (English translation): Here stood the Wilson Monument that was demolished on command of the Deputy Reich Protector SS-Obergrupenfuehrer Heydrich. Since March 1939, the territories of Bohemia and Moravia had been under German occupation
