On 11 May 1937, the new building of the Reich Chancellery (Berchtesgaden department or office) in Bischofswiesen at the foot of the Watzmann (far background, Grunstein in front on the left) was almost complete. On the scaffolding of the building, which was built according to plans by Alois Degano, hangs a poster of the German Labor Front: This company stands united in the German Labor Front
