Depiction of Hitler's plan of attack on America in the Ameri

On 25 August 1942 an article was published in the American magazine Look, about an alleged German plan of attack on America. The article origins by the exiled German journalist Friedrich Harens Tete Tetens, whose articles were, as here, partly published under the pseudonym Anton Pettenkofer. Tetens outlines a scenario in which Adolf Hitler is plans an attack on the U.S. in six steps. The attack on the United States follows the strategy of encirclement and runs as follows: First, the Wehrmacht gains control over the oilfields of the Middle East, later, the Nazis conquer North Africa and dominate the Mediterranean. The German Luftwaffe flies overnight to Brazil from Dakar, where they initially occupy about 600 airports with the support of paratroopers. Then, the Germans conquer the oil fields of Venezuela.
