Destroy new and old Reich Chancellery, 1945

An aerial view of the completely bombed new Reich Chancellery, inaugurated in 1939 but fully completed in 1943. The eastern front in the center of the picture borders on WIlhelm Strasse, where the old Reich Chancellery is also located to the right. Along Vossstrasse on the left edge of the picture is the entire monumental building of the new Reich Chancellery, which is now a ruin. The picture marks the spot where the bodies of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun were burned in front of the exit of the Fuhrerbunker
