A cannon stands in a destroyed street in Kabul during the riots following the overthrow of Amanullah Khan. Amanullah Khan was overthrown by traditionalist forces led by the Tajik Bacha-i-Saqao (Habibullah Kalakani). Mohammad Nadir Khan was able to defeat these forces and to ascend the throne by himself
