Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Dietrich Bonhoeffer (04.02.1906-09.04.1945), Protestant theologian and resistance fighter. In 1931 he was student pastor in Berlin, in 1934 an advisory member of the Ecumenical Council. 1940 speech -, in 1941 writing ban. He had contact with the circle around Admiral Canaris and was arrested on 05/04/1943 by the Gestapo. He was hanged in 1945 shortly before the arrival of American troops in the Flossenbuerg concentration camp together with Colonel Oster and Canaris
