Distribution of land ownership, 1932

The government of the second cabinet under Heinrich Bruening in the final phase of the Weimar Republic tried to buy the over-indebted manors in East Germany and distribute them to the proletariat of the peasant workers. Most of the time this failed because of the politically influential landowner. The picture shows however the entry of the new owners in the former Warlang manor
