Titanic, the then most modern and fastest English passenger steamer sank on the night of April 15, 1912 on its maiden voyage south of Newfoundland Bank after a collision with an iceberg. 1, 513 people died. Our image, inspired by eyewitness descriptions, shows the last moment of the Titanic whose side wall was torn below the waterline by the iceberg in a length of about twelve meters
