Driving snow on the Marienplatz in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

On February 4, it started to snow in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Just in time, because the snow was necessary for the opening of the Winter Olympics on February 6 and the following competitions. In the picture, a man is pulling his large sled through the fresh new snow across the Marienplatz, past house No. 13-15, which housed a hotel. On the left behind it the old pharmacy (house no. 10) and behind it the parish church St. Martin can be seen. On the left, advertising posters for the Olympics hang on a board
