The E-boat tender Tsingtau and the E-boatss 6 ares 8 moored in the port. E-boats were small warships which were armed at that time with torpedoes, and were able to reach high speeds. The Tsingtao was an E-boat tender ship, which served as accommodation for the crews and as storage for fuel, food and ammunition for the E-boats
