Ernst Hanfstaengel

Ernst Hanfstaengel (actually Ernst Franz Sedgwick), German culture historian, on the piano. He had already joined the NSDAP since 1922 and was from 1932 to 1934 foreign press chief of the NSDAP without proper specific knowledge. He got into a growing internal opposition to the national socialist regime and fled in 1937 from Germany via Switzerland to England
