Ethnic German teenagers from a community in Bethlehem, Jordan visit Germany. They themselves, as well as their parents, were born abroad. Despite their exclusively Arabic surroundings the young people speak a dialect of German from the Rhineland-Palatinate. They are presenting Arabian dances to their hosts. The spectators at a bridal dance (shown) stand in a half circle and clap their hands to the rhythm
