A family demonstrates in New York in support of their father

The wife and six children, among them Nora who has just turned two, of the worker Michael Sullivan who has been fired from his job, demonstrate in front of the office building of the Brooklyn Edison Company on the corner of Chester Street and Pitkin Avenue in the Brownsville district of New York. Michael Sullivan claimed that he had been fired solely because he was involved in the union. The children carry protest placards that accuse the firm of firing their father when he protested against salary cuts
