These students are standing in formation, wearing the uniform of the fascist militia Milizia coloniale'. The picture was taken on April 1, 1938 in Tripoli in the Italian colony of Libya. The group was the only section of the Milizia universitaria in Libya, which consisted of students. The superior organization was the Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale (MVSN)
