Female belgian aviator Helene Dutrieu, 1913
Helene Dutrieu was the first female pilot to set records and win trophies and competitions. She was one of the few women, who actively fought during the First World War. This picture taken in 1913 was probably taken to commemorate her admission into the French Legion of Honor. Date created: 15.03.1913
