A German antitank gun (7.5 cm Pak 97/38) in a position near the city of Birsen on the Lithuanian-Latvian border. In the course of the Operation Bagration, the Wehrmacht was pushed far to the west in the summer of 1944. In the Baltic States, the German units were able to hold on relatively long.
