The photo shows one of the earliest pictures of the later world-famous German opera singer Richard Tauber (centre of the picture as Graf Morton). The photo was taken at the first performance of Darnley, the first part of the youth work Maria von Schottland ('Mary of Scotland') by the poet Bjoernstjerno Bjoernsen in the Berlin Theater on 14.02.1902
