Flag hoisting after the plebiscite in Schleswig, 1920
In accordance with the terms of the Versailles Treaty in Schleswig was held a voting on the whereabouts at the German Reich or the annexation to Denmark of each region. After the vote on 6.15.1920, expired the mandate of the International Commission for Schleswig, the German government took over the administration again and the troops moved into the German territories.
