Francis II (1768-1835), Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation (1792-1806) as Emperor of Austria (1804-1835) Francis I. In 1804, he proclaimed the Empire of Austria and put in view on 6 June 1806 the internal dissolution of the empire (especially Confederation of the Rhine) he put the Roman imperial crown down and declared the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation as extinct
