This recording shows the new Nazi Minister of State Hermann Esser (right), who congratulates the Reich Governor Ritter von Epp, who was appointed by the Berlin Reich Government, to take over the NSDAP in Bavaria. In the background, the old parliament building. Esser wears the Coburg Badge, consisting of swastika and sword, the sword stands for the SA. The Coburg Badge is named after the 3rd German Day in Coburg, to which Hitler traveled with several SA men for a rally, and during the event several street fights occured with followers of the Left party. Beside party members and SA men, the event was also attended by women
