Frauentor in Nuremberg
The medieval Frauentor at the Nuremberg city wall. Formerly the southeastern entrance to the city, completed around 1450. The four round gate towers of the last city fortification (built in 1450) were first quadratic, and was wrapped around in 1556/64 due to defense policy reasons
