Frederick Banting, 1941
Frederick Banting (1891-1941), Canadian physiologist. He discovered insulin together with Charles Herbert Best. In 1923 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine. The picture shows him in the uniform of the Canadian Air Force
