French Senate Commission for the Morocco Agreement, 1909
Consultations of a French Senate Commission on the German-French Morocco Agreement. With the Morocco agreement, the Moroccan crisis is resolved. Germany recognizes the supremacy of France in Morocco, but receives assurance of economic equality in the region. Morocco remains formally a sovereign state. At the meeting of the Senate Committee were: Ch Dupuy, Trouilot, Strauss, Loze, Chautemps, Ribot, de Courcel, de Courcel, Jean Dupuy, Estournelles de Constant, Sarries and Leon Bourgeois.
